If you're ever in Tamarindo I highly recommend you book with Maitri Villas. Everything was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the villa was very clean, and the design was chic. Also, as a guest you have access to a private beach club, which had excellent food and service.
Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) had an incredible stay at Maitri Tamarindo! The location is perfect—just an 8-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy for us to enjoy both the beach and the town. The property is beautifully designed, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. The plunge pool was a big hit with the kids, and it was the perfect spot to cool off after a day of exploring. We were also impressed with the fast Wi-Fi, which was great for staying connected and streaming during downtime. Highly recommend Maitri Tamarindo for families looking for a blend of relaxation and convenience!
These villas are absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed when I arrived to the property, it is well maintained. Inside there are 2 bedrooms and 3 bathroom, a full kitchen and even a washer and dryer. There are even 2 adorable cats that live on the property and may try to come inside. I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I stayed more then 1 night. The pool outside is a nice touch and the access to the beach club is awesome.
I did take off 1 star because I think there are some important things the place is lacking, the first major thing is there aren't blinds or a curtain on the first floor and anyone walking by can see right in. I had to be fully dressed when I went downstairs which is not something you want when you're staying somewhere. Also the property is set back from where all the Tamarindo action is, I wouldn't say it's walkable or at least I wouldn't walk it especially at night. There were only 3 towels when it in theory should sleep 6 so there should be at least 6. There were only 2 of us but when we went to the pool we only had 1 clean towel to shower with. Other then these minor details it is still a really pretty property and a great place to stay.

The location was also ideal, its a few mins walk to the beach but just far enough so you don't hear the music of all the clubs in town so you can get a good night sleep.
Also we loved the benefit of having access to Langosta Beach club. It's definitely a big addition that made our trip even more special.

We spend a night in Maitri and everything I have to say is that is one of the best experiences here in Tamarindo. Every detail is amazing, from the shower stuff as shampoo and conditioner from Costa Rica to the kitchen appliances as a blender, sharp knives, full stocked kitchen, everything.
We loved it there, the pool is amazing and the waterfall gives the touch.
I highly recommend it as you get an amazing treatment from the owners and the staff too.

Ok… wow where do I even start! The beds, the showers, the pillows, the plunge pool, even the details in the knifes and forks you won’t be disappointed. The owners designed this villa with a boho Tulum vibe and it’s perfect. The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to tamarindo and was super helpful when we asked anything. If I could rate them higher than a 5 I would. Stay here and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed
Beautiful jungle oasis. Brand new built, really well thought out. Open concept, tall ceilings with large windows. A lot of natural light and overall great atmosphere. Also, such a great opportunity to rent more than 1 unit at a time if you are traveling with family or friends. Highly recommend checking it out.
