Nestled in the heart of Costa Rica’s most vibrant beach town, Tamarindo, Maitri is a brand-new development of luxury holiday homes.
Kat & I had a vision to build a home that engages all your senses. A home where stress and anxiety are melted away. A home where kids can play and parents can finally relax. A home that is never boring, where you discover beauty on every step. The scent of greenery, the sounds of waterfalls, and the stunning interior and our artistic expression ingrained in every brick.
Art is the soul that makes our homes feel alive. Artistic expression is not just the furniture or the wall paintings or the “interior design,” it is a vision, filled with energy and positive emotion that we want to express to you. It is like staring at a painting and feeling the emotion and motivation that the artist had while brushing the paint onto the canvas.
Every room was designed to express calmness, excitement, enjoyment and love. We want to bring forward your positive emotions, your creativity and your well-being, the second you open the door in to your new home away from home.
There are four Maitri homes in total and each one has been designed specifically with families in mind. That means spacious living areas, beautiful bedrooms, toys and cribs provided, fully equipped kitchens, and private plunge pools.

1. Walk to Tamarindo Beach
We are centrally located in town and just an 8 minute walk to Tamarndo beach! If you get tired of the Langosta Beach Club (unlikely!). You can walk to surf the main break or to all the restaurants & cafes.
2. Exclusive Beach Club Access
Just a 12-minute walk from your villa, the member's Langosta Beach Club is an exclusive beachfront club offering an array of amenities and breathtaking ocean views. You will have unlimited access to this incredible facility included within your booking. Here you can enjoy ocean-front dining, a spectacular infinity pool, private poolside cabanas, a wellness center, and a pool bar.
3. 200Mbit Internet, with failover
Digital nomads, we've got you covered. We know how important it is to have a fast and reliable Internet connection, so we've made sure that Maitri has a primary 200Mbit connection & 100Mbit failover connection that’s perfect for working from home. We use top-line Ubiquity hardware WiFi - Access Points, Security Gateways, CAT6 cabling throughout, and dual ISP connectivity.
4. Private Salt-Water Plunge Pools
Each of our villas comes with its own salt-water private pool, so you can cool off after a day in the sun or take a moment to relax in peace and quiet. And if you want to enjoy an even bigger pool, don't forget that you have unlimited access to the incredible Langosta Beach Club.
5. Bikes & Kids Toys
We know how important it is to be able to get around easily when you have young children, which is why we've provided two bicycles per room within your booking. Maitri is only ever a 5-minute walk from everything Tamarindo has to offer at most. So, even if you want to explore on foot, you won't have to travel far.
6. Indoor / Outdoor showers
We designed gorgeous indoor/outdoor waterfall showers for you to enjoy. Open up your experience to feeling the breeze with natural light and strong water pressure all in the privacy of your villa.
7. Security & Access Control
Security is one of our top priorities at Maitri.. We installed bracelet/card NFC access control throughout the property. You can even go surfing with the waterproof bracelets!
8. Common Space for Your Entire Family
We have built a large common space around the "tree of life" where you can read, relax, or hang our with all your family who may be staying at the other villas on the property!
9. Property-Wide Water Filtration
We have installed a full filter water system so you can drink, shower and prepare meals with filtered water throughout the entire property.
10. Entertainment
Each bedroom is equipped with a 50" LED Smart TV so you and your partner can enjoy a movie / show or alternatively enjoy sunbathing on the deck in peace while the kids watch cartoons.

Playa Tamarindo
Tamarindo is a beach town located on the north-west coast of Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste. Situated on a peninsula, with the Pacific Ocean to the west and the estuary of the Tamarindo River to the east, Tamarindo is famous for its incredible surfing and diving opportunities, as well as its vibrant nightlife.
With its white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush jungle vegetation, Tamarindo is unrivaled in its natural beauty. Have an adventurous spirit? There’s plenty on offer, from zip-lining and horse riding to deep-sea fishing, catamaran sailing, jet skiing, snorkeling and stand-up paddle boarding.
The town itself is also a great place to explore. It’s littered with an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, and bars. Maitri guests can comfortably take a stroll from their villa to the town and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the cafes or do some shopping in the organic boutiques and souvenir shops.
And if you feel like going a bit further, there’s plenty to explore beyond Tamarindo too. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas, which is home to an impressive concentration of leatherback turtles.
No matter what you’re looking for, there’s no better place than Tamarindo to create lasting memories with your family and friends.
Langosta Beach Club — The Perfect Place to Unwind
Maitri guests have unlimited access to the Langosta Beach Club, located just a few minutes’ walk from the villas. With its stunning infinity pool, incredible ocean views and a fully-equipped air-conditioned gym, the Langosta Beach Club is unrivaled in its luxury and amenities.
If you’re looking to treat yourself to a little TLC, the Club’s spa and wellness center offer a range of treatments, from massages and facials to manicures and pedicures. There is even a yoga studio on-site, where you can take part in group classes or book a private session. Afterwards, you can stop by the club’s organic boutique to browse native Costa Rican products, including everything from coffee and chocolate to soaps and skincare.
